Personal Statement

Jeanette graduated from Western Washington University with a self-designed major in Environmental Advocacy. While at Western, she formed and organized a student environmental group and taught an upper division class in forest activism. Upon graduation, she was accepted to Green Corps: Field School for Environmental Organizing. Jeanette worked for the Native Forest Network (NFN) for 17 months prior to joining the Alliance, serving as the Rocky Mountain Field Organizer for NFN's Zero Cut project. In March of 1999, Jeanette was hired as the Network Coordinator for the Alliance and lives in Missoula, Montana.
